Yale Poly Plus™
Rope Characteristics
PolyPlus Braid is a single braided rope constructed of high tenacity Dacron® plied over “para-ep” polyolefin in each individual strand. A unique plying technique optimizes abrasion resistance. The “para-ep” provides body to the rope and enhances its handling characteristics, while keeping the weight to a minimum. Poly Plus is the strongest single braid polyester/polyolefin blend available.

Dielectric StrengthThe maximum allowable leakage for new dry Poly Plus Braid is 1.00 milliamperes at 60K DC Volts when tested in accordance with Yale Cordage Test Method DTP-185. Caution: Absorbed and entrained moisture or impurities will dramatically increase a rope's conductivity. Yale Poly Plus is made in accordance with Yale specification #YCI-P12-004 |
